The toaster burnt the toast as if it was sitting on the surface of a scalding sun. The bus driver decided to arrive on time for once and to splash you with a tsunami of curb water. Your negative algebra test result means that your parents won’t get you a new bike anytime soon. Nothing went right today.
Now, you need to unwind when you get home. Do you play video games to unwind? Is there are a particular genre of game that helps you relax or a specific game that you always play when you’re low (or both)?
I’m pretty sure that I go on Youtube and watch some happy videos when I’m stressed. I’m one of those people who don’t get stressed very often, though, so I’m not entirely sure what I do.

Cat videos? lol I feel like that’s something a lot of people do. But it’s good not to be stressed very often.

lol Actually they’re usually anime related. But, sometimes I watch Markiplier or the Game Grumps.

Ah, yes, anime would make sense given what you blog about 🙂 . That sounds good.

I had one of those days today, but I unwinded with some TV. Usually I play video games though so today was an exception to the norm. I usually play light-hearted and colorful games but when I’m in a very foul mood I take it out in fighting games or FPS games.

I tend to do a lot of things when I’m stressed. A good video game does help though. It doesn’t matter what, but its usually something I really enjoy. Halo, GTA, something like that.

Sounds good. I know causing mayhem on city streets or fighting aliens relieves stress quite well.

I do play games to recharge my batteries, but there isn’t a specific genre I go for. If I have had a bad day I’ll avoid difficult games though, because the last thing I want to do is suffer more frustration.

Now that makes perfect sense. Who, after a long day of pulling their hair out at work, wants to pull their hair out while playing a game? Not me.
