Suppose a wand, glittering with gold, descended from a clear sky. No, it does not belong to Harry Potter, and please try to take this imaginary magic wand seriously, okay?
Now, upon closer inspection, you notice a white and golden sticker on the wand that says, “Official Nintendo Seal of Quality.” You pick up the wand and watch as purple smoke slowly billows out of it until a beautiful purple cloud engulfs you. This is some sorcery. This is a magic wand!
The wand gives you the magical ability to make any video game you want, to become a video game developer–without the hard work–for a day. What game would you make and why?
Note: Someone or something put the Nintendo sticker there as a joke for gamers. You don’t have to make a Nintendo game. It’s a wand without any loyalty.
This is a tough one, I’d probably go with a new IP never seen before. A RPG based around fantasy.

Sounds good. Something like the Witcher?

The Witcher mixed with certain elements of Final Fantasy. I think mixing a wrpg with a JRPG would be good. Only, and I mean only if done correctly.

I’ve always had this idea of making a proper Terminator 2 Action/Adventure game.

That sounds like a good idea. A studio with a passion for the movies would have to do it though, and I think it shouldn’t be connected to an upcoming movie because those rarely turn it out. But I could be wrong.

I would love to make a game that combines the graceful gameplay of Xenoblade Chronicles with over-the-top characters/stylings of Bayonetta. Something that’s loads of silly fun but doesn’t leave you wanting a good story.

A Freezing strategy RPG. It would include my favorite things in this world – strategic combat and well endowed ladies with tearable clothing.

I love strategy and RPGs a great combination.

A spiritual successor to Shadow of The Colossus: some epic battles with giant fiends that stand in the way of your quest!
It would look like Monster Hunter but more story-driven.

This is probably my favourite suggestion in the comments for this post. Great idea! Is that what The Last Guardian is supposed to be—a spiritual successor to Shadow of the Colossus?

The Last Guardian is quite different from Shadow of the Colossus: you collaborate with the giant creature and use its animal instincts to progress in the game.
The games are quite different from one another but I’m pretty sure that Ico, SoTC and TLG will be connected in some way or another, like story or universe-wise.
